About Me

As part of my Modern Languages degree from the University of Exeter, I spent a year at the University of Valencia being taught French and Italian — in Spanish! It taught me how to cut through information overload, pick out what really matters, and communicate it clearly.

This skill is fundamental to bid writing, and ultimately led me to a career in the field. After graduating, I joined a main contractor in the construction industry, where I coordinated complex tenders up to £15m in value.

Since 2023, I have offered freelance bid consultancy to businesses and charities, from one-off funding bids to ongoing support as an extension of in-house teams.

Born and raised in Cornwall, in the (little) spare time I have, you’ll find me out and about the county chasing after my two amazing little girls!
