Many charities and Community Interest Companies (CICs) are in desperate need of funding, but cannot afford the luxury of in-house staff dedicated to grant writing.
At the same time, many Trusts and Foundations are pausing programmes, closing application windows, spending out, or restructuring – making it harder than ever to access funding. Some funders I’ve come across this year report success rates as low as 2–5%, which can be incredibly disheartening for already stretched organisations.
This means that writing clear, persuasive, and well-targeted applications is more important than ever.
